Your friendly getting-started guide

Learn your way around

Everything you need to turn a topic into colourful cards and practise confidently. Explore sets published by Quizzard and copy them to study privately.

01 · Start here

Create your free account

Sign up with Google, or use your email and a password. We’ll send a six-digit code to your inbox—enter it to verify your email and get started. Your sets and practice progress are saved to your account.

Create an account

Try it without an account

Head to guest mode to make sets and practise right away. Guest sets stay only in this browser, with the same limits as an account: 15 sets and 30 cards per set. They remain private; Quizzard publishes the community sets available for everyone to browse. Guest practice progress isn’t carried over, but your sets are imported into your account automatically when you sign up or log in.

02 · Set the scene

Make a set

Choose New set, give it a clear title, and pick one of twelve themes. You can change the theme later, so choose the one that feels right for this subject.

03 · Build your deck

Add cards your way

Use Table mode to see all your questions and answers at once, reorder them, and quickly fill in text. Or choose Card by card to focus on one face at a time. Cards with a blank side are incomplete and skipped during practice.

Spreadsheet tip: copy two columns—question first, answer second—and paste them into a table cell. Each row becomes a card.

04 · Make it stick

Practise with Smart review

Start Smart review to work on cards that are due, or choose All cards for the whole set. Flip a card, then tell Quizzard how it went: Let’s review again sends it back to box 1; Almost there keeps it in the same box with a shorter wait; Nailed it! moves it up a box, giving you a longer break before the next review.

The intervals are the usual wait after a successful review. An “Almost there” rating shortens the wait; at box 1 it comes back after ten minutes.

05 · Learn together

Explore & copy community sets

Quizzard publishes selected community sets for everyone to browse and practise, even without an account. Copy a set into your own collection to customise it and save your practice progress privately. Sets you create remain private and are not publicly shareable.

Public sets are published by Quizzard and can be reported. Content that breaks the rules may be hidden.

06 · Plenty to learn

Free limits

Every free account can have up to 15 sets, with up to 30 cards in each set. Incomplete cards count toward the card limit, even though Smart review skips them until both sides have content.

Frequently asked questions

Forgot your password?

Choose “Forgot password?” on the login page and follow the email-code steps to set a new password. If you signed up with Google, use Google sign-in instead.

Why didn’t some cards appear in practice?

Cards need both a question and an answer before they can be practised. Add the missing side in the editor and save.

Can I try Quizzard without an account?

Yes. Guest sets stay in this browser and are private. Browse Quizzard-published community sets to practise or copy privately. Sign up or log in to import your guest sets; practice progress isn’t carried over.

What happens when I delete a set?

The set and its cards are removed from your account. Your own sets are private; public sets are published by Quizzard.
